The School (NOMEC)

The focus of the Nosakhare Model Education Centre is to prepare children for the 21st century without stress.
The Centre is designed to concurrently offer learning through small group methods for the disadvantaged learners in the afternoon sessions from the Nursery to Secondary levels of learning and through pure Montessori Method in the Nursery and Primary Schools. The Parents and Guardians of would-be pupils in the Nursery and Primary Schools would have the option of choosing the Montessori classes or small group classes depending on their financial standing.

As a model of a Christian school established with strong faith in Christian values, the Centre’s concern is providing opportunity for the young ones to acquire sound literacy and moral education at an affordable cost. Hence, education provided is highly subsidized at the Centre by the Chairman / Proprietor.
To this end, the aims of the Centre are to:

• Inculcate permanently, literacy and numeracy ability to communicate effectively.
• Build a good foundation for scientific and reflective thinking citizenship education and be able to participate and contribute effectively to the development of society
• Give the child the opportunity to develop manipulative Skills.
• Provide higher quality education for primary school leavers at junior and senior secondary levels.
• Provide basic tools for further educational development within and outside Nigeria
• Inculcate in the pupils and students’, moral behavior to enable them appreciate the goodness and greatness of God.
• Provide opportunity for the child to interact with children from other countries and from different social levels.
